Ethan Delavan

Director of IT

Ethan Delavan has been working at Seattle independent schools since 1996. He has founded several interscholastic initiatives in technical innovation for young people in the Pacific Northwest, and he has held advisory roles for the Northwest Association of Independent Schools. 

He's equally at home teaching drama, building theater sets, coding maker projects, and developing technology strategy for teaching and learning. His passion for technology is grounded in its potential to amplify human creativity.

Ethan’s leadership extends nationally through his work with the Association of Technology Leaders in Independent Schools, where he has helped shape the future of technology leadership in education by serving as a peer mentor, professional development consultant, and conference chair. He is excited to work at the Northwest School, where the mission and vision inspire him to think differently.
